Pain-staking

Once again,

acetaminophen

has been

poisoned.

Tylenol

has been used

safely

for decades

despite

the charades

now playing

out.

No need

to proceed

with clinical

trials

when vials

can be

discontinued.

Meanwhile,

the recommendation

is accommodation

to discontinue

without

peer review,

other than

what appears

as peers,

not of scientists,

but of the

resistance

to anything

conventional

or other

wise.

Decrying

the medical

establishment’s

reliance

on science

is keeping

us from

the truth.

Our youth

and infants

are at risk.

Not from

Tylenol,

but from all

the efforts

to throw

the baby

out with

the bath

water.

Pregnant

women

on a strict

regimen

have taken

Tylenol

per

protocol

for decades.

When aspirin

had been

found

to have

unsound

effects

for children

and expectant

women,

science

indicated

a safer

product-

and Tylenol

was born.

The scorn

this administration

pours on

without regard

for any

consequence

could be

seen

as nonsense

if not for the

expense

to the most

vulnerable.

Of all

the concerns

and problems

to address,

creating

a headache

over Tylenol

is just

adding to

the enormous

mess.

The stakes

of pain

can be quite

severe.

We need

science

guidance

to which

we adhere;

not a

conspiracy

of a deranged

Kennedy.

Scrambled (It ain’t over easy!)

The  price

of eggs

begs

the question

of what

decided

this election—

the price that

women

pay

to bear

the cost

of a lost

pregnancy

or

scrambling

to pay for

the grocery

bill

that

for many

is still

unbearable.

Scrambling

to get

healthcare

or scrambled

eggs without

welfare.

It’s all

fair game

but not quite

the same

when

playing

chicken

with eggs.

Economic

pain

trumped

the strain

on women

to attain

self reign

or the right

to obtain

reproductive

care.

In a free

and fair

society

economic

mobility

and bodily

integrity

are intrinsic

to being

free.

I actually

still

see

possibility

and will

continue

to pursue

the issue.

We’ve

scrambled,

poached,

feeling hard boiled,

and toiled

for too long.

It ain’t

over easy,

and we’re

prepared

for the sleazy

plays.

But success

occurs

in different

ways,

and I’m confident

along with

a huge percent

of the electorate

that we can

yet

achieve

what it means

to believe

in freedom.

Raising Arizona

Figuratively

speaking…

dropping acid

on women

seems

to be

the new

altered state.

Swallowing

the acrid

pill

of swill

against

the will,

now of Arizonan

people,

is despicable

yet

predictable.

When

a miscarriage

of justice

over miscarriage

of pregnancy

and anything

other than

unassisted

birth

or conception

is conceived

as pro

life,

we know

it’s a lie.

Letting

women die

gets a sigh

on the court,

while citing

precedence

in the Comstock

Act

that preceded

the last

century.

The South

has risen

again,

using

the states’

rights

excuse

to abuse

others.

Now

the canyon

is grand—

more than

they planned—

between

those who

understand

the demand

and need

for reproductive

health

and the destructive

power

that has risen

in Arizona.
